What the Preez app accesses, in one page. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
What Preez accesses
- Location
- Only when you start a check-in or check-out, to confirm you are at your workplace. Never in the background.
- Camera
- To take a live attendance selfie when your organization requires one. No access to your gallery or files.
- Account information
- Your phone number and name, to identify your Preez account.
- Attendance records
- Check-in and check-out times, branch, status, leave and corrections — to show your history and produce your organization’s reports.
- App installation ID
- A random ID created by the app, sent with attendance to recognise your installation.
- Notifications
- Permission is requested for attendance reminders. Push notifications are not sent yet.
What Preez does not access
- Background location
- Contacts
- Microphone
- Photos and files on your phone
- Advertising ID
- Analytics or crash-reporting SDKs
Sharing
Attendance data is visible to your organization’s owners, admins and the managers of your branch. We use service providers to run Preez. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.
Security and deletion
Data is sent over HTTPS, and selfies are kept in private storage. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
