Short answer: Preez records kitchen and floor staff attendance per shift at each outlet. Staff check in on their phone with location and a live selfie, late-night shifts that end after midnight count towards the day they started, and staff covering another outlet are verified there.
Where attendance goes wrong in restaurants
- Two or three shifts a day, with the last ending after midnight.
- Kitchen staff are lent to another outlet during a rush, and neither outlet records it properly.
- Closing staff leave without signing out, so hours are guessed at month end.

How are shifts that end after midnight handled?
The whole shift counts towards the day it started, so a 17:30 to 00:30 shift is not split across two dates.
Can one cook work at two outlets?
Yes. Assign them to both, or add a temporary assignment for the days they cover.

No. Preez records attendance and hours and exports them; tips and salaries stay with your accountant.
